SALON POLICY

 

All customers accept the following terms and conditions when they request a service with Goldie the Salon.

Hair Cleanliness and Colour Service Policy

​

At Goldie, we use Original Mineral hair colour, a clean and kind hair colour and care range formulated from active natural extracts and minerals. O&M is free from ammonia, resorcinol, PPDs, and other harsh chemicals, which makes it a gentle and environmentally-conscious choice for our clients.

 

Due to the natural composition of Original Mineral, it is essential that hair is clean and free from buildup for optimal results. Unclean hair can affect the effectiveness of the colour treatment, and as such, we cannot guarantee the desired outcome if hair is not properly prepped.

 

To ensure the best possible results, we request that clients arrive with clean hair. If hair requires pre-washing and drying before the color application, an additional fee will be charged to cover the extra time required for this preparation.

 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us deliver the best possible service.

 
No-shows and late cancellations

 

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can mean you will need to change your appointment. However, a minimum of 24 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment are required. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours or for which clients are a “No-Show” will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and efficient appointment scheduling process, therefore a non-refundable $30 deposit is required to secure your online booking. The deposit you make will go towards your payment total on the day of your appointment. This is to ensure no shows and cancellations are taken into consideration for the runnings of the salon. 

 

Extra Guests

 

We want to provide our guests with a seamless and luxurious experience. And as a small but busy salon, we are unable to accommodate extra guests/plus ones during your appointment due to limited seating.

 

Sickness

 

To ensure the health of the stylist and our valued clientele we adhere to a strict sickness policy. If you are unwell, please cancel your appointment with 24hrs notice. If you attend your appointment and are visibly unwell, we reserve the right to turn you away. We want to avoid the spread of illness within our salon to our staff and guests.

 

Return and resolve Policy

 

Goldie the Salon strives to ensure complete client satisfaction with every appointment. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your hair, please inform us before leaving the salon.

If you are still dissatisfied after leaving, we have a Return and Resolve Policy valid for one week after your appointment. Within this period, contact us to arrange a consultation. During the consultation, we will assess your hair and collaborate with you to find the best solution to address any concerns.

To ensure the most optimal outcome, we kindly ask that you refrain from seeking additional treatments or colour from another salon before allowing us to assess your hair.
